The newly formed Kansas DUI Commission continued to meet and take testimony from experts from around the country. Among others, David Wallace, director of the National Center for DWI Courts, and Stephen Talpins, chief executive officer of NPAMC, testified in October. The Commission plans to draft and submit a proposal to overhaul the state’s DUI statutes in January 2010.

The newly formed Kansas DUI Commission began reviewing DUI statutes and programs from around the country in an effort to develop a comprehensive program to better address DUI offenders.
